(Sometimes it’s not ready for international students on the first day so you’ll have to wait)

It includes your INE number, which is needed for certain procedures like:
Resto CROUS – Izly (student cafeteria system)

Hopefully this won’t happen to you, but I had an issue where the first certificate I received had the wrong INE number, so I had trouble creating my CROUS account.

You can send an email to or visit the Bureau from your year to request the digital version of the certificate.
