🚇 Transport Card (RTM)

Requirements:

1. Passport
2. Enrollment certificate provided by the school on the first day
3. French RIB
4. Your photo 3,5 x 4,5

Where to do the procedure:

Points d’accueil Métro : Castellane, Saint-Charles, Vieux-Port, Noailles, Gèze, La Rose, Sainte-Marguerite

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to subscribe to the pass with monthly payments (it should be the one in the link), because you’re required to commit for a minimum of one year — but after that first year, you can cancel whenever.

Because if you stay more than two years in Marseille, and you get the annual pass in your first year, then try to switch to the monthly one later (thinking you’ll only need it for, say, 8 months), you’ll actually have to commit to another full year.
In the end, you’d be paying for 2 years.
